Charles did most of their rune-work when necessary after all, at least laying it all down, and while Edwin didn't think anything was out of place, there was also a key missing, and he wasn't sure if it was in the translation itself or not, though he was reasonably sure that it had been done in some kind of personal shorthand by the original caster, and without knowing what they'd been using as a reference point Edwin would only be able to figure out what they had probably been trying to do.

"Honestly it's just the dual circles that are throwing me off." He shook his head, "Because I can't be sure if they were laid down by two different people or not." It certainly seemed like they had been, and that meant they might not have been meant to do the same thing, and if that were the case, the second caster had been sloppy in not cleaning up the prior work first, and that could have caused complications.
