Charles was sure that Edwin could feel the jumps his heart was making in his chest at his words. He paired it with a set of small kisses, peppered all over Edwin's jaw and chin and lips. And when he didn't feel like his legs were made of jelly, he got up to clean them and offer a new pair of pants and underwear if needed. Thank god they got plenty of clothes.
