It was definitely amusement, though it wouldn't have been some few months earlier. But that was Edwin, adjusting to a new flavor of normal much more quickly than most people would. Sure, he'd thought there were some things that were never to be spoken of, but they had been, and so far had turned out for the better for him, and that was really all he could ask for.
Because that was the other thing about Edwin, he would always be unflinchingly himself, especially now.
"Speaking of, the corporeality won't last much longer, if there's anywhere else you'd like to promenade me past while you can."
