He nodded once, "See that you do." It really was a request despite the solidity of the statement, one that he softened just a little by adding, "Otherwise I'm going to have to guess, and that's going to become awkward for everyone involved." Not entirely true, because it wouldn't be guessing as much as it would be calculated deductive reasoning, but that wasn't as fun to lay claim to.

His head tilted, regarding the Cat once more, fingers still light against his elbow, "So, shall we continue our walk? Or did you intend to stay here a while longer?" The tone was nearly a tease, but the question itself was genuine enough, because he truthfully didn't mind either way, there was still time before he had to get back to the office -where he would not be making any announcements to the room at large- and there were no pressing activities to finish before he had to do so, at least so far as he knew.
